Lens 02:14
I am broke but I'm not broken. I am broken down at the 711 on the far side of town. But I've got you on my mind, in fact I think about you all the time and I see the world through the lens of how much I love you.

I don't count my lucky stars but I certainly do collect them. I don't fuss with people stuff, so I manage to neglect them. I would help more, pretext is poor but I haven't the time to afford them. The true excuse, I'm self-absorbed and all that's me comes before them.

If you would have asked me at 18, "Where you see yourself in ten years?" this is not what I'd predict; I can't imagine anything different. I've got my own regrets. I've played them perfectly inside my head. How could I possibly mess up this time again? I hope my mistakes lead me to some success. Don't let the weight of everything collapse on me. We have set our paths to save the world, only to realize it's too big. We've got a world inside ourselves; it's far from perfect, we need to save it too. 7 billion people on this earth living a fraction of time. You say you’re irrelevant cause you know soon that one day you’ll die. You’re just a speck of dust but don’t feed me that bullshit cause your actions have a consequence. Everything’s upside down, we made it but were reaching for light. The task at hand never seemed much further from sight. I’ve got my flaws something to which we all can relate. But don’t blame anybody for your own hate. We can’t do it by ourselves; we need each other not to only save ourselves but our dear earth mother. One day we will die but until we reach that last breath. We’re alive and well my friend so fight ‘til you’ve got nothing left.

I remember when an hour was a long time. And I remember when a year felt like a long time. Now all I feel is this ache that's settled in my chest and it feels like I strained something, pulled a muscle I never knew I had.

Moonlooks 00:15
The moon looks fine tonight. I think I wanna be outside. And I'm so glad I'm alive.

We have jobs . We are adults. We can do what we want, except what we want which is to stay in bed today. We've got bills we can't ignore, student loans we can't afford so we'll go do work instead and try to pay off a bit more debt We've got credit cards, we are adults. We can do what we what except what we want to do is nothing. But I have you and you've got me and that's not ever gonna change so I know we'll be okay. I hope you feel the same I've got everything I need and most of the things I want but my expectations, hopes and dreams keep growing I need to keep in mind that I've got everything I need and most of the things I want but my expectations, hopes and dreams keep getting bigger We have degrees cuz we are adults We have a house cuz we are adults No friends cuz we are adults Problems cuz we are adults But we make our own fun cuz we are adults Eat whatever we want cuz we are adults Stay up as late as we want cuz we are adults And pay for it in the morning I have you cuz we are adults And you have me cuz we are adults And we'll grow old cuz we are adults And stay together We'll find our own way cuz we are adults Do whatever we please cuz we are adults Stay up as late as we want cuz we are adults And pay for it in the morning It was harder getting up today than it has been in a long time We're all waiting for our big break I know mine is coming soon, I can feel it But after that I'll clock back in because I still need to pay those loans I've got everything I need and most of the things I want but my expectations, hopes and dreams keep growing I need to keep in mind that I've got everything I need and most of the things I want but my expectations, hopes and dreams keep getting bigger by the minute, by the hour, by the day
